Come down on Valentine's Day to have an eventful, romantic night! Starting at 6:00pm with a house-made dinner, then live music by John Merchant starting at 7:00 pm, and then a wine, chocolate, and cheese tasting at 7:30pm! The show will finish at 9:00pm, we hope to see you there!
About John Merchant:
Veteran West-Michigan based singer/songwriter/guitarist.
He lives in Ludington Michigan with his wife, Jenifer, son Quinn, dog Ela, works a day job where he helps alcoholics and drug addicts navigate early sobriety, plays solo dates, duos with former Dutch Henry bandmate Greg Miller, violinist Angela Corbin, 80's hair metal throwback "American Hairband", does freelance gigs, teaches, and still occasionally straps on a guitar for a live Beatle show in front of the mirror.
As a songwriter and arranger the focus remained on the song. Constructing music that compliments and moves literate, revealing, and honest lyrical content forward. Weather it be early original bands like Novocain Tongue, cover acts like Sweatin Bullets, rockabilly with Carl Bensen's Wildcats, playing guitar, mandolin, lap steel, and accordion on internationally celebrated and acclaimed "Neighborhood Noir" by West Michigan based The Lonesome Trailers, writing and recording with Dutch Henry, to his latest release "Midwest Blues" featuring Ashley Youngstrom and his band "the Desolation Angels", a relentless dedication to the song remains. The song is number one and will always has been for Merchant.

Learn how to luge on a real ice luge track designed by an Olympian. One of only four luge tracks in the U.S., Muskegon Luge track is open to first timers to try. Book a 2.5 hour session with coaching, free-sliding time and conclude with a fun race and Olympic-style medals ceremony. When you slide the 650 ft. track you'll travel up to 30 mph through 4 banked curves and a straightaway known as "Furnace" for the burns it leaves on your jacket sleeves when you speed through. You'll get instruction from experienced luge coaches and all equipment; including a luge sled, helmet and elbow pads, is provided. The luge track is built all naturally from snow and below-freezing temps. Luge sessions are only offered when conditions are available in the winter. Book your spot in advance because each session is limited to 30 people and will sell out. Participants must be at least 48" tall and weigh at least 60 lbs. All participants must sign a waiver before participating. Accommodations and adaptive equipment is available for people with disabilities who wish to participate. Click here to register.
