Welcome to the White Lake Area Chamber of Commerce & Visitors Bureau.

Fall

Just when you think it can’t get any better, fall arrives in West Michigan. With it, the air turns crisp and cool, the trees take on a brilliant palette of rusty hues, and of course, new adventures abound.

Fall is gorgeous in the White Lake Area. The scenic bicycle trails and drives through undisturbed scenery open up a quiet world of beauty — made even more picturesque with the backdrop of Lake Michigan.

There’s no end to autumn adventure.

While many people associate summer with outdoor recreation, during a White Lake Area fall, the weather’s still perfect for an array of outdoor activities.

Play a round of golf without waiting at each hole, shop exceptional seasonal sales in downtown Montague and Whitehall, or rent bikes and kayaks while skipping the long lines.

We apple-solutely love fall.

Fall is apple harvest season in Michigan. We take them for lunch, use them in pies and fresh cider and wash it down with donuts!  Visit an orchard for some apple picking and get lost in a corn maze while you’re there! And don’t forget the patches. Take the Pumpkin Express and pick out your very own pumpkin to carve or roll down Dowling Hill during Pumpkinfest. Savor it all with a belly-warming mug of pure delight with hot, spiced, or spiked ciders and specialty pumpkin drinks available almost anywhere. There’s simply no better place to be.

You’ll never want to leaf this place.

Some of our most-anticipated events happen in Autumn.  Our Depot to Depot Color Tour  brings all of our best scenic drives into one trip for your leaf-peeping enjoyment and Pumpkinfest is a unique festival celebrating the season with locals and tourists rolling nearly 1000 pumpkins down Dowling Hill in Montague! Be sure to check out our complete Events Calendar for a full list of festivals, celebrations, and events.
