Travel along some of Michigan’s most beautiful scenic drives. It’s the 16th Annual Depot to Depot Muskegon County Fall Color Tour. Experience the vibrant colors of the woods, dunes, and water every Saturday in October! Drive your car or bike along this self-guided touring route to visit historic sites, enjoy nature, and snap a selfie at one of the many beautiful vistas along spectacular Lake Michigan.
Due to the ever changing environment surrounding COVID-19, Depot to Depot 2020 will be presented a little differently. With these “minimal contact” changes in place, we are pleased to offer an event during a year filled with cancellations and postponements. Depot to Depot can still be a popular fall activity, enjoyed by many within and outside our community!
Because the White Lake Depot (124 W Hanson, Whitehall, MI) and Muskegon Depot (610 W Western Ave., Muskegon, MI) have limited hours and are no longer open on Saturdays, maps are available to download and also in an outdoor pick-up box at each Depot. Unfortunately, the Depots can no longer offer refreshments, crafts, or free pumpkins this year.
Contest entries will be gathered by social media check-ins at designated stops, replacing the stamps on maps in previous years. Participants are asked to use the hashtag #D2D20 as entries to win prizes! Follow your map and check in on social media at designated stops for entry to win prizes. The more check-ins, the more entries! (Be sure to post “public”. If we can’t see them, we can’t count them).
