In this class students will explore the art of pastel painting using the still life as a jumping-off point. working from objects brought by students as well as provided by the gallery, we will explore capturing light and shadow, using color creatively, and setting up an interesting composition.

About the Instructor:
Matias Brimmer is a Michigan-based figure painter and multimedia artist. Matias has always had a passion for the visual arts, and has maintained an active studio practice for a decade as of this year.
