White Lake Youth Theatre (WLYT) welcomes Missoula Children’s Theatre back to The Playhouse at White Lake for a one-week Spring Musical Play Camp featuring the beloved story of King Arthur’s Quest! All children involved will be cast and perform, except for 4) students who can select to gain knowledge backstage as assistant directors, if they prefer not to perform.

2.) Pay $25 deposit due at time of registration, $150 due by 3/15

How does the magic happen in this one-week Play Camp?! We’re glad you asked! A tour team arrives in our little town for seven days with their “little red truck” loaded full with King Arthur’s Quest in the trunk, including the set, lights, costumes, props and make-up, really everything it takes to put on a play…except four our LOCAL White Lake Youth Theatre cast. The team will hold an open audition and cast up to 60 local students to perform in this production at the end of the week. The show is rehearsed throughout the week after-school and a public performance will be presented at the end of the week to show off the unbelievable results of this one-week long unique, educational theatre experience. All children involved will perform in the production.

MCT’s mission is the development of life skills in children through participation in the performing arts, which marries nicely with our similar White Lake Youth Theatre mission: to cultivate a compassionate community of youth artists through education and access to the arts.
