Erin Wang, cellist, received a Bachelor of Music and B.A. in French from Oberlin College and Conservatory, M.M. from DePaul University, and Artist Certificate in Chamber Music from the San Francisco Conservatory of Music. She has performed chamber music with Yo-Yo Ma, Menahem Pressler, Peter Frankl, and Anthony Marwood, and has collaborated with the Irish music ensemble Anúna, jazz clarinetist Paquito D’Rivera, and hip-hop artist Kanye West. She is a member of the Santa Cruz Symphony and the Magik*Magik Orchestra, and was a winner of the concerto competition at SFCM. Erin currently lives, teaches, and performs near Yosemite.
