All Ages, $5

Join artist MJ Ernst to learn how to create a cute felted heart using calico cottons, colorful felt and multicolor embroidery thread. MJ will be doing demos at 1:00, 1:30, 2:00, and 2:30pm. Drop in for any demo time, put together your own custom kit, and create in the comfort of your home! Kits will be $5 and will include everything you need to make your own felted heart.

About the Artist:

Mary Jo (MJ) Ernst grew up in West Michigan and has been sketching her whole life. She owns and operates a custom dress shop in the Chicago area. She uses all types of mediums in her artwork. Ink, especially solubles, is her preferred choice for quick sketching.   Her sketch style is whimsical and impressionistic. When visiting family in the West Michigan area you may see her out sketching local people and sites . MJ encourages anyone, all skill levels, to pick up a pen, pencil or brush to get started and make a mark!
