Let’s explore the work of Andy Goldsworthy, a world renowned artist known for his contribution to the land art movement. Then we will dive into creating our own one of a kind art outside using sticks, snow, rocks, mud or other found materials. Be prepared to channel your inner earthworks artist and brave the elements while getting creative.

This is part 1 of a 4-part Exploring Art Series with Chelsea Kirksey. You can attend all four classes or pick and choose those that interest you! These classes will be held the last Saturday of each month, January  – April.

About the Instructor:

Chelsea Kirksey has been teaching community-based art classes for six years. In 2014 she earned a BFA in Art Education with a specialization in sculpture from MSU. She enjoys sharing her love of art with others and seeing their passion and creations.

COVID-19 Considerations:

Students must wear masks, use the provided hand sanitizer, and abide by social distancing mandates.
