Cabochon/Advanced Wire-Wrapping

February 1, 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm

Prerequisite: Beginner Wire Wrapping or previous knowledge of basic wrapping techniques.

Students will be given a cabochon and led through the techniques used to create a beautiful pendant. Once they have the basics of this wrap, they will then be able to adapt it to other shapes such as hearts, teardrops or freeforms. Participants are welcome to bring an additional piece with them. If time allows they can wrap it, or get tips on how to best do it on their own.

Class minimum: 4

Class maximum: 10

About the Instructor:

Chris Rogers is a jack of all trades when it comes to art! She’ll dabble in anything and everything, but her biggest passions lie in henna, lapidary, and wire wrapping.

ACWL-Nuveen classes are supported in part by grants from the Michigan Arts & Culture Council, the National Endowment for the Arts and the Nuveen Benevolent Trust.
