An Evening with John Otterbacher

October 19, 2022, 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm

Enjoy an evening with local author John Otterbacher at the White Lake Community Library Wednesday, October 19th, at 6pm. John will discuss his newest book, What Remains: Memoir of an Old Man on the Road, an old man’s motorcycle ride through small town America, reviving his affection for people as they are. It also reignites his sense of adventure about aging itself, the ingredients of a mindful and passionate life.

Psychologist, former state representative and senator, long-distance sailor and motorcyclist, John Otterbacher has written for professional and travel publications in the United States and Europe. His first book, Sailing Grace, was honored as “Best New Nonfiction Book of the Year” by National Indie Excellence Awards and finalist for “Best Book” award by USA Book News.
