Save a life–donate a life jacket!

The objective is to provide life jackets to West Michigan children in coordination with the sheriff departments in Muskegon, Allegan, and Ottawa counties!

Life jackets save lives, and when kids are on or around water, they are essential to keep them afloat if they accidentally fall in or become overwhelmed by wind and waves. The donated jackets will help West Michigan children safely enjoy and benefit from our beautiful beaches.

We are seeking new life vests that meet the following guidelines:

• US Coast Guard (USCG) approved
• Vest-style life jackets are more comfortable and likely to be worn by children
• We can use infant, child, youth, and adult sizes

Life jackets can be dropped off at Coldwell Banker Woodland Schmidt (1321 E Colby St. in Whitehall), or at the White Lake Area Chamber of Commerce (124 W. Hanson St. in Whitehall) now through May 15!
