    The Magic that Is White Lake: White Lake area featured in The Michigan Riparian magazine.

    In an article published in the Spring 2019 issue of The Michigan Riparian magazine, White Lake Association board member, Deb Hays, offers an in depth look at our beloved home and the efforts surrounding its improvement and preservation. Beginning with a historic glance at the origins of White Lake, the article explores the impact of industrial development to the area as well as the role of tourism, culture and the arts.

    The Michigan Riparian magazine is a publication covering issues relevant to the preservation of our state’s inland waters.

    The White Lake Association is a group of area residents collaborating to preserve the natural amenities of White Lake through conservation and education.

  • Welcome to the White Lake Area Chamber

    Welcome to the Chamber website! Please have a look around and let us know if you have any questions. Below we will list some of the major sections of the website. The video associated with this post goes over some of the basic functionality and how to navigation through the site.

     Homepage:

    On the homepage, you will notice one the slider images. These images will change depending on the local events and seasons. So check back often!

    Below the slider, you will also notice an events section, which will display the next 3 upcoming events, and a featured section that will display featured information and new stories.

     Navigation:

    The main sections, and their sub-pages, can easily be viewed by using the top navigation and the drop-down menus located on every page. For example, “Discover White Lake”, “Things To Do”, etc. Each section will display featured articles or featured businesses. Contact us to find out how your business can be a featured business.

    Sub-Pages:

    Once you click on any sub-page you will notice a sidebar navigation located on the left hand side. This is so you can easily jump from page to page within that current section. So for example, when you click on “Area History”, you will see all of the “Discover White Lake’s” sub-pages on the left.

    Businesses:

    To find a local business, click the “Find a Business” link located at the top of the page, or at the bottom of most of the drop-down navigation menus. Here you can click on a specific category, or use the search form to look for a specific business.

    Events:

    Click on the “Events” link in the navigation to view a calendar that will display all community events, Chamber events, and festivals. You can also view more information about a specific event by clicking on that particular listing.

    Chamber Resources:

    Under this section you will find all Chamber related information. Current members can login and once logged in a new link called “My Chamber” will appear in this area.  In the “My Chamber” section you will be able to update your business profile, submit a community event and view member only information. All user accounts will be created soon after the new lunch, expect to get an email with login instructions. If you don’t currently have an email on file with us, contact us today to obtain your member account.
