The Lakeshore Museum Center is comprised of multiple sites and buildings in downtown Muskegon including the Muskegon Museum of History and Science, Muskegon Heritage Museum of Business and Industry, and the Muskegon Historic Sites that include the Hackley & Hume Home Historic Site, Fire Barn Museum, Scolnik House of the Depression Era, and Muskegon County Archive Collection.
When you visit our museums, you take a 400 million-year journey that explores Muskegon County’s rich natural and cultural history with exciting exhibits, hands-on activities, and a variety of programs.
Muskegon Museum of History and Science
Admission is free for Museum members and Muskegon County residents and $5 for non-resident visitors.
Monday-Saturday: 10AM-4PM
Saturdays, November-April: 12-4PM
Muskegon Heritage Museum of Business and Industry
Admission is free for Museum members, $5 for adults (ages 13 and older), and free for children ages 0-12.

Muskegon Historic Sites
A ticket allows all visitors to take a guided tour of the Hackley & Hume Home Historic Site, and self-guided tours of the Fire Barn Museum and Scolnik House of the Depression Era.
Admission is free for Museum members, $15 for adults ages 13-64, $12 for seniors age 65 and older, $5 for youth ages 3-12, and free for children ages 0-2.
Tickets are $5 to tour the Scolnik House and Fire Barn without touring the Hackley and Hume houses.
