Fairytale Move and Groove

Pour Painting a Ceramic Tile Trivet

One event on May 30, 2019 at 6:00pm

Students will paint and finish with resin an 8×8 ceramic tile to be used as a heat-proof trivet. Students will learn how to mix paints to pour paint using acrylic paints. After the tiles dry (3 weeks later), students will learn how to mix epoxy resin and finish the tiles to be heat-proof. This class is for adults, ages 18 and up.

Finding Edges with Ink

Learn how to use watersoluble inks to create dramatic works of art with very little effort. Anyone can paint with ink. We will be working with ink washes and finding the edges to create a finished piece of artwork. This class is appropriate for ages 16 and up.

Sketching Life with Ink

In this class you will learn quick style sketching using a watersoluble ink pen, sketchbook and a waterbrush. A simple set up and watersoluble ink allows you to create fast, moody sketches on location. This class is appropriate for ages 16 and up.

Unicorn Paint Together

Pour Painting Techniques Workshop

In this workshop students will create two canvases. This first canvas will use the “kiss” technique. The second canvas will use the Dutch method (pictured). Students will learn how to mix paint and use different techniques to create art. This class is appropriate for ages 18 and up.

Mermaid Felting

Sun Print Pillow Cover

Create your own unique throw pillow using light sensitive dyes and the summer sun! Gather leaves, ferns, flowers- add items such as lace or a transparency if you choose- any flat material with an interesting shape that will block light. Choose your color then dye and expose an 18×18 cotton pillow cover with a zipper closing. These are permanent and washable, fun and original! This class is appropriate for ages 15 and up.
