Summer is winding down here in the White Lake Area, but with summertime temperatures this week, who can really be sure? But just because the beach days are fading doesn’t mean the fun is over! We’ve still got plenty going on to get you ready for sweater weather.

Dannyz Open Pool Tournament-Every Tuesday

Welcome to Dannyz weekly Tuesday Night Open Pool Tournament! Do you have what it takes? We’ve got some pretty great players here and it gets full QUICK! Tournament starts around 7:00 and goes to around 9:00 PM. It is open to the public! So it’s time to chalk up your stick and bring your game. The Danny’z Pool Champion belt is on the line!

Winners receive: Full social media announcement including photo with the prized belt! That’s something to brag about Wednesday morning!

Exciting TWO DAY class that Janet Anderson will teach in acrylics. You will learn how to paint trees in the distance and foreground, creating depth and mood. By doing this in two parts, you will have the time to build up the painting with layers. Both classes are 5:00 – 7:00 p.m.. All supplies included for $60 total.

White Lake Stewardship Day: Muskegon Conservation District

Join the Muskegon Conservation District for a morning of hands-on stewardship at the Slocum Switchback in Whitehall!
Together, we’ll remove invasive and unwanted plants and replace them with native species that support a healthier, more resilient ecosystem.

Tails On Colby @ The Hokey Pokey

Come join us for our September “Third Thursday” event of Tails on Colby. It is your chance to bring in your dog and parade them through the store. We will take pictures of each dog and put them on our social media. The dog with the most likes will win our giveaway basket.
You may dress your dog up in a cute little outfit or costume. You may also dress up and match your dog, however know that the dog will be the only one in the picture. Please have your dog on a leash and be mindful of other pets in the store.

Funds raised support the Harbor Hospice Bob & Merle Scolnik Healing Center and its life-changing grief support programs.
