Here's What's Happening in the White Lake Area This Week!

🍂 September is here, summer is winding down, and the fall enthusiasts are preparing for pumpkin-spiced everything. But here in the White Lake Area, we don’t slow down when the leaves change—we simply shift into fall mode! Bring your lawn chairs, grab your friends, and settle in for an evening of fantastic live music on N Mears, just outside of Fetch Brewing Company.

🎤 Expect the unexpected each week as a rotating lineup of AMAZING musicians takes the stage. You never know who might show up—but you’ll definitely be glad you did!

Rain and inclement weather moves the event to The Playhouse at White Lake.

Dannyz Open Pool Tournament-Every Tuesday

Welcome to Dannyz weekly Tuesday Night Open Pool Tournament! Do you have what it takes? We’ve got some pretty great players here and it gets full QUICK! Tournament starts around 7:00 and goes to around 9:00 PM. It is open to the public! So it’s time to chalk up your stick and bring your game. The Danny’z Pool Champion belt is on the line!

Winners receive: Full social media announcement including photo with the prized belt! That’s something to brag about Wednesday morning!

White Lake Stewardship Day: Muskegon Conservation District

Join the Muskegon Conservation District for a morning of hands-on stewardship at Svensson Park in Whitehall!
Together, we’ll remove invasive and unwanted plants and replace them with native species that support a healthier, more resilient ecosystem.

We’ll provide gloves, tools, and sun/bug protection. Please wear closed-toe shoes or boots, and feel free to bring along your favorite tools if you’d like.

MHM Free Community Days – September: Air Raid Wardens & Blackout Drills: Civil Defense in WWII

Join us at the Muskegon Heritage Museum of Business and Industry for one day each month where we are open free to the public. This year our overarching theme is commemorating the 80th Anniversary of the end of WWII. Each of these Saturdays will have a different theme to highlight our collection and Muskegon’s contributions to the war effort. Saturday, September 6th – Air Raid Wardens & Blackout Drills: Civil Defense in WWII Civil Defense committees sprang up around the country to train Americans about how to prevent sabotage and guard against air raids during World War II. Learn about local measures to protect the vital war work in Muskegon County and which factories made up the alert system. Try your hand at enemy plane identification and dive into the regulations for blackouts and fire prevention.
