Impasto Still Life

Tuesday, March 3, 2:00-4:00, Clarice Kwant will teach an acrylic painting “Impasto Still Life”. Students will have the opportunity to create the simple shapes of a vase and sunflowers by the use of thick, discrete strokes of paint around which multiple other colors will be applied with a similar impasto technique. $35 includes all supplies. Dannyz Open Pool Tournament-Every Tuesday

Welcome to Dannyz weekly Tuesday Night Open Pool Tournament! Do you have what it takes? We’ve got some pretty great players here and it gets full QUICK! Tournament starts around 7:00 and goes to around 9:00 PM. It is open to the public! So it’s time to chalk up your stick and bring your game. The Danny’z Pool Champion belt is on the line!

Winners receive: Full social media announcement including photo with the prized belt! That’s something to brag about Wednesday morning!

Exclusive Viewing: “Multiple Choice”

There will be two upcoming opportunities to preview a new film called “Multiple Choice,” The movie takes a deep look at how schools need to adapt to our rapidly changing world to ensure our students aren’t just keeping up, but leading the way.

It’s a great chance to see how the work we’re doing locally is giving our kids a real competitive advantage.

There are two free film screenings scheduled. Please note: Event is free, but please fill out the registration below.

For both events the schedule will be as follows:

  • 5:30 Doors open
  • 5:30-6:30 Exhibition of Learning by students
  • 6:00 Film starts
  • 7:15 Debrief and panel discussion
  • 7:30 Event ends

4th Annual Pinewood Derby @ White Lake VFW Post 3256

Cars are available at the VFW Post 3256 for $16 and include entry.
Register your car for $8.00.
Sign-up by February 4, 2026
Kids car weigh in is at 9:30 AM and races start at 10:00 AM.
Adult cars weigh in at 12:00 PM and races start at 1:00 PM.
Grand Masters immediately following the last race.
The Auxiliary will be cooking burgers and hot dogs.

The Langford Lads are a sonically stunning trio where the intersection of Irish and American Folk music meets in a tapestry of tone that is woven in wood and wire. Their performances blend lively instrumentals, heartfelt vocals, and engaging storytelling that captivate audiences of all ages.

Their repertoire is vibrant and varied—ranging from toe-tapping reels/jigs to soulful ballads, featuring both instrumental and vocals. Their shows are known for their signature informal, engaging vibe, with plenty of energy, spontaneous banter, and a strong connection between the band and the audience. More than just a concert, it’s a shared experience.
