Bring It Out Bash!

Muskegon Community College (MCC) is opening its doors to the public and inviting potential students to three separate events dubbed the “Bring It Out Bash,” an informational open house party hosted by the College’s Admission’s Department. The family-friendly event welcomes all prospective students to explore what MCC has to offer with free food, tours, prizes, and $25 gift cards for the first 100 participants aged 15 and older at each site.

The one-stop-shop informational gathering will give high school students, adult learners, and first-generation college students, the opportunity to meet faculty and staff, discover MCC’s programs, services, and financial aid options — including free or discounted tuition.

Music Bingo at Jimmy’z Pub

Come jam out with us every Monday with music bingo from our friends at DJ Bingo of Oceana County! As songs clips play, mark them off your sheet and WIN! There are multiple chances to win and all song titles and artists are displayed on our TVs so no need to strain the memory trying to remember who sang that one song… (cell phones are also welcome). Plus enjoy Dollar PBR drafts all day!

Whiteboard Wednesdays: A Hands-On Marketing Workshop Series

Kindred is excited to introduce Whiteboard Wednesdays, a hands-on, open-format workshop series designed to help businesses and marketing professionals tackle common marketing challenges.

Hosted by Owner Don Kalisz & Jessie Wilde, Business Development Director at Kindred Marketing, this interactive two-hour session provides expert guidance, actionable strategies, and hands-on exercises to help local businesses enhance their marketing efforts.

Each month, we focus on a specific marketing theme, covering topics such as graphic design, branding, social media strategies, AI in marketing, content creation, web development, and community engagement. Attendees will engage in whiteboard brainstorming sessions, guided worksheets, and real-world problem-solving activities, walking away with tangible marketing tools they can implement immediately.

Join the White Lake Area Sportfishing Association for the annual Kids Fishing Contest during Michigan’s DNR Free Fishing Weekend!

Registration: 7:00–10:00 a.m.
Fish Weigh-In: 10:00 a.m.–Noon
(All participants must be in line by noon.)

Lunch and Awards Program at Noon

Age Groups:
• Ages 3–6
• Ages 7–10
• Ages 11–16

Contest Rules:
• Fish anywhere from White Lake Drive to the White River Fishing Bridge
• No fishing on marina docks
• Shore fishing only — no boats
• Each participant may weigh in one fish, regardless of species
• Live bait provided
• Limited fishing equipment available on a first come, first served basis beginning at 7:00 a.m. at the Goodrich Park Pavilion

Prizes:
• Top 10 winners in each age group for both girls and boys
• All entrants receive a goody bag
• Must be present to win

Children do not need a fishing license.
