Legacy Award Nomination

All White Lake Area Chamber of Commerce members are invited to help us recognize an outstanding individual for the impact that they and their business have had in the White Lake Area community for the past 10 years or more. 

We are seeking nominations of community members who have demonstrated a track record for business health and growth.

All nominations are due by September 30, 2026. The award will be presented at our Annual Dinner on Monday, October 19.

LEGACY AWARD CRITERIA

 • The individual must serve as a majority owner and operate or bear principal responsibility for operating a small business with at least a ten-year track record.

• Demonstrated consistent track record of business health and growth, community involvement, and the collaborative spirit of the White Lake Area business environment.

• Demonstrates a legacy of contributions to the betterment of the quality of life in the White Lake Area.

• The business must have assumed continued risk of organizing, developing and managing a successful private business enterprise in the White Lake Area.

• The business must demonstrate a continued passion for helping their community and building a solid foundation that is well recognized in the community.

• The business should have an established history of distinguished service.

• Principles reflect care, compassion, investment and entrepreneurial spirit.

• Has proven the ability to adjust to the changing economic climate, staying power and longevity.

• Commitment to excellence and continue to elevate their presence and attention to excellence in business.

• A member in good standing.

• Outstanding commitment and dedication to the Chamber’s mission, vision, and values.
