Lady Laker Award Nomination - White Lake Area Chamber & Visitors Bureau

The purpose of the Lady Laker of the Year award is to recognize a female professional who has served in an exceptional manner, especially in mentoring and assisting future leaders in the White Lake Area.

All nominations are due by September 30, 2026, at which point past Lady Laker Award recipients will vote. The award will be presented at our Annual Dinner on Monday, October 19.

This award is sponsored by the Don Rypma Family.

Eligibility: All outstanding individuals are eligible for nomination, excluding members of the selection team and persons who have received the award for the past five years. Nominees must be professional within the White Lake Area.

Criteria: Using the following criteria, please explain why this individual should be considered or the Lady Laker Award.

a. The nominee must have demonstrated outstanding performance excellence, creativity, and initiative in their business or profession.

b. The nominee must project a warm and considerate level of professional excellence in his/her business or profession.

c. The nominee must have devoted time and energy to the community in a meaningful way.

d. The nominee must project an enthusiastic initiative.

e. Provide valuable service by contributing time and energy to improve the quality of life for others in the community.

f. The nominee must actively assist women in realizing their full leadership potential.
