The White Lake Chamber Music Society’s new White Lake Music Series has been warming up the winter months with music and conversation, running from January through April 2025. This series featured monthly events, including live classical performances at Blue Lake Public Radio’s Studio and three captivating music talks by Foley Schuler, Lazaro Vega, and Bob Swan at the Book Nook & Java Shop.
Now, as spring begins to bloom, don’t miss the final event in this special series on Thursday, April 10 at 2 PM—a breathtaking Cello and Piano Recital featuring Kuang-Hao Huang and Marina Hoover. This concert will include the evocative Debussy Cello Sonata and a vibrant selection of Spanish-inspired pieces, including Gaspar Cassadó’s Requiebros, works by Enrique Granados, and Albéniz’s Celebre Serenata Española.
Thanks to a generous grant from the White Lake Fund of the Community Foundation for Muskegon County, this in-person concert will be held at the Myers Performing Arts Studio at Blue Lake Public Radio, 300 E. Crystal Lake Rd., Twin Lake. Admission is free, with limited seating available on a first come, first served basis.
