Throughout the year, White Lake is proud to host a range of fun and exciting community festivals as well as chamber of commerce events. Visual Journaling

Ever been interested in learning how to combine collage, drawing, painting, and writing to express your feelings and experiences? This is the class for you! All participants will get to create a simple journal and fill one page spread of that journal during class. Collage and mixed media art materials will be available for you to experiment with based off of a variety of prompts provided to you by Instructor Raelynn Jewison.

Class maximum: 10

About the Instructor:

Raelynn Jewison was born and raised in Williamston, Michigan where she discovered her love for art. She attended Central Michigan University graduating with a bachelors in Visual Arts Education. She graduated in 2019 and went on to teach at Olathe East High School for three years in Olathe, Kansas. Currently, she lives in Muskegon and teaches at Muskegon High School. Raelynn has taught photography, digital art, drawing, painting, and ceramics. Personally she experiments with all mediums of art, many times creating multi media pieces. She has a wide range of experience vending her art as well as being a live artist for music events.
