Visit White Lake Community Library on Wednesday, June 17th, at 6:00 PM for a special program as part of our “Unearth a Story” Summer Reading Program, featuring the president of the White River Rock Club, Chris Rogers.

Spend the evening discovering how rocks, fossils, and minerals can reveal stories about our region and the natural world. You’ll learn about local rock hunting and beachcombing along the Great Lakes, see examples of fascinating finds, and hear how collectors uncover and interpret what they discover. You’ll also learn about the White River Rock Club and how you can get involved if you’re interested in exploring this hobby further.

Whether you’re an experienced collector or just enjoy walking the shoreline and wondering what you might find, this program offers a welcoming way to connect with the stories all around us.
