Gear up for Trash Bash on Sunday, April 27, sponsored by Consumers Energy!
The White Lake Area Chamber & Visitors Bureau needs your help to clean up our bike trails, shorelines, and waterways. We need all hands on deck, especially those with waders, kayaks, or canoes.
This event is great for individuals, families, and groups. All ages welcome!
Join us at the Depot (124 W Hanson in Whitehall) at 1:00 pm, ready with sunscreen, gloves, and hats. We’ll provide the trash bags and the plan.
No need to RSVP, just come ready to make a difference!
Additional Information:
**FREE BIKE & KAYAK RENTALS:
Please note–WaterDog Outfitters will offer free bike rentals for those looking to clean up the trails, and free kayak rentals for those looking to clean up the waterways. To rent a kayak, individuals must be prepared for cold water and dressed warmly with dry suits.
The Gnarly Heifer will be stationed at WaterDog Outfitters with their bullpen, their food tent, and will be selling food from 12:00pm-4:00pm. A perfect pre-Trash Bash lunch, or post-Trash Bash meal option!
For our 21+ Trash Bash participants, you can bring your full bag of garbage over to Jimmy’z Pub (alley side) and turn it in for a special raffle!
Special thanks to Walmart for donating trash bags and granola bars, and Knight Transfer for donating a refuse container!
