Jennifer Green, the photographer behind our current exhibition, Through Our Lens: Hands, will present a FREE lecture discussing how photographic storytelling (and storytelling in general) can enhance life. Whether that’s through excavation of your inner self, documenting family history or even impacting the world around you. Jennifer will offer insight into her photographic process and how she choses to visually tell a story.
This event is FREE, but due to space limitations, registration is required.
Capacity is 25 people.
About Jennifer Green
Jennifer Green grew up in the White Lake area and has lived here most of her life. Photography has been a constant throughout it – her father a fine-art black and white film photographer, he greatly influenced Jennifer’s vision of the world. Jennifer’s passion is to show stories with her images that impact the viewer and help them to see life from a different perspective. Her award winning work has been exhibited in museums, galleries and a variety of publications. In addition to photography, she is also a Ballet Teacher and Ballet Mistress for Michigan Youth Ballet Company, enjoys creating artwork in charcoal/graphite and is an aspiring writer. Most importantly, she is a wife, mother of four and grandmother “Ama” to two perfect grandchildren.
