Create a funny face vase and a colorful wind chime in this three day workshop. Students will use various clay hand-building methods and then glaze their work with colorful accents.

Completed work will need to be fired following class – we’ll contact you when it’s ready for pickup (about two weeks after class)!

A Note about the Class Fee

The cost to run a clay class is more than most ACWL-Nuveen classes due to the time and literal energy it takes to fire the kilns. However, if the $25 class fee is prohibitive, please reach out to nuveen@artswhitelake.org and we will do whatever we can to make this class accessible to you!

About the Instructor:

Kathy Rogers is a retired art teacher for Whitehall District Schools and has been an active member of the ACWL-Nuveen wearing many hats since 1999. As an artist herself, her paintings can be seen in the gallery. Kathy continues to be a life-long learner and teacher.
