Summer Art Camp: Great Lake Ships in Oil Pastel

Ohoy Mates! Ships play an important role in our local community! Do you know why? In this class you will learn why and how to draw and color them. Students will draw a ship utilizing 2-dimensional form and will finish their drawings using oil pastels and India ink.
About the Instructor:
Holding a degree in Art Education from Central Michigan University, Marv Bolthouse taught for over twenty years at Orchard View High School in Muskegon, MI, before retiring from teaching in 2022. Drawing and painting is his passion – along with teaching the elements of art to young people. Marv truly enjoys witnessing students grow as artists.
