Join Bryce Thompson to gain confidence in creating and designing characters, objects, and worlds from your own imagination. Students will narrow down ideas, and develop themes, plot, and character descriptions. Participants will gain an understanding of character archetypes and how assigning them a role within a story can elevate the narrative through its depth and attention to detail. By the end of the course, participants will have fully imagined at least one character, object, and setting to be presented at the end of Day 3.

About the Instructor:
Bryce Thompson is a 19-year-old local illustrator from the Muskegon area. He’s predominantly self-taught and has had work displayed in the ACWL-Nuveen, as well as the Muskegon Museum of Art. Although his subject matter usually depicts fantastical occurrences, he is well-rounded in realism as well. Bryce will be attending College for Creative Studies in the fall.
ACWL-Nuveen Summer Art Camps are supported by the Lothmann Family Fund of the Community Foundation for Muskegon County.
