An event every week that begins at 6:00 pm on Thursday, repeating until June 13, 2024
Learn about this popular paint! Gouache has some unique qualities and working properties. We will learn the basics of handling the paint as we create a “Sous Bois”, or small landscape, using photos of small corners of the natural world. Gouache is uniquely well-suited to this subject and to a small painting. Learn about Gouache, and also some basics of color mixing and composition.
Students should bring inspiration photos from home or scenes/sketches from nature. You can email them to nuveen@artswhitelake.org before class if you’d like them printed!
