Again in 2022, the 41st Annual Fruitport Old Fashioned Days 5K run will benefit the Leila and Cyrus Poppen Hospice Residence. Participates will run, jog, walk, or ride in memory or honor of a loved one.
Runners, walkers, joggers, and bikers must register online for the in person or virtual events. All proceeds from online registration and crowdfunding to benefit the Poppen Hospice Residence in Fruitport Township. Since 2006, the Fruitport and surrounding communities have supported the charity bike ride with almost $19,000 in proceeds benefiting our inpatient hospice program, The Leila & Cyrus Poppen Hospice Residence, which opened in 2005. Over 3,500 patients and families have called this their home at end-of-life.
