Programs, Propaganda, and Posters: How the Home Front was Shaped in WWII

During World War II there were many changes on the home front as the war demanded many supplies, resources, and certain standards. To inform theAmerican public on this, the war department made many propaganda pieces. In this lecture we will talk about the various programs and posters county residents saw, what was asked of them, and analyze the artwork displayed on these posters.
This event is free for Muskegon County residents and $5 for non-residents.
