Learn to paint landscapes with acrylics! This course will cover the basics of color theory and different approaches with acrylic paint. Students will learn about atmospheric perspective and how to effectively convey space through landscape painting. Ages 16+.

About the Instructor:
Tatsuki Hakoyama is a Japanese artist who works with a broad range of content and mediums, including painting, drawing, and papermaking. He received his bachelor’s degree from Central Michigan University, and his Master of Fine Arts in Painting from Kendall College of Art & Design of Ferris State University (KCAD) in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Aside from exhibiting his work in various solo and group exhibitions, he is an Assistant Professor of Studio Arts at KCAD.
Hakoyama currently lives and works in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
