Join instructor Casey Bemis to create a painting of your pet. Students will need to email a photo of their pet to nuveen@artswhitelake.org so Casey can trace the pet’s image on a 12″ x 12″ canvas before class. Students will gain an understanding of color mixing and shading while creating a heartfelt keepsake of their beloved pet. Ages 12+.

About the Instructor:
Casey Bemis has lived in the Whitehall area for over 10 years, working in her studio in the quiet woods just a few miles from Lake Michigan. Much of the work is inspired by nature, geometry and science. Utilizing her undergraduate degree in painting, she draws directly on sheets of metal to be etched and then made into unique jewelry. She also paints and finds some time to work on several novels.
