White Lake Area Sportfishing Association is hosting the Kids’ Fishing Contest on DNR Free Fishing Weekend.

For ages (3age groups): 3-6, 7-10, 11-16

Fishing Contest Rules: 

• Fish anywhere from White Lake Drive to White River Fishing Bridge, EXCEPT NO FISHING ON MARINA DOCKS. Fishing must be from shore, no boats. Some fishing equipment available on a first come, first served basis, beginning at 7:00am at Goodrich Park Pavilion. Live bait is provided. Each participant weighs 1 fish regardless of species.

Prizes: MUST BE PRESENT TO WIN

• Top 10 winners in each age group (girls & boys)
• All entrants receive a goody bag

Weigh-In: 

• Return to Goodrich Park Pavilion with fish for Weigh-In between 10:00am and 12:00pm Must be in line to weigh by noon.

Lunch for family and entrants at noon.

Registration from 7:00am-10:00am
NO LICENSE REQUIRED – REGISTRATION IS FREE
