“Just Us” are 8 women singing a cappella– meaning no accompaniment, usually no music nor microphones. We live along the lakeshore & sing for our own enjoyment; sometimes we even share the fun with others! We’ve been around in some form for over 25 years, starting out as “Sacred Harmony” in a church. After losing and adding some members and changing some of the songs we choose, we’ve evolved into a more secular group, singing at private parties, small groups, and street performing in Muskegon. We often sing about equality, justice, and making a difference in the world. Thus our name, “Just Us” is also a play on the word “justice,” an important reason we sing the songs we sing.
