Tatakizome is the Japanese term for flower pounding, the botanical printing technique of printing on paper or fabric with foliage using a hammer (or a rock). Using this technique, students will create a set of four greeting cards – or a frameable 8″ x10″ piece – utilizing fresh flowers, leaves and hammers. No experience necessary.
