Who wouldn’t love a simple watercolor sketch of their home to display or one to give as a gift? Bring along an image (either a photo or on your phone) of a special place you want to capture and join us to learn the process of creating a freehand home portrait. Paper and supplies will be provided but participants are welcome to bring along their favorite supplies (pencil, ink pen, and watercolors). Ann will walk you through the process of creating your own home sketch while sharing tips on perspective and watercolor techniques along the way.

If you’d like a printed copy of your photo, please email it to nuveen@artswhitelake.org before the class and we will have it ready for you!

About the Instructor:

Ann Rusky is an artist who loves recording her experiences and travels in her sketchbooks. She enjoys walking and hiking around West Michigan with her family, and recording the things she sees. She is currently an Admin in the local chapter of Urban Sketches – Urban Sketchers West Michigan.
