Create a beautiful 5”×7” felted wool painting in this hands-on class! You’ll learn essential needle felting techniques as you build a stunning 2D fiber art piece — no experience needed. All materials are included, and optional picture frames are available to purchase for $10 so you can take your finished work straight home and hang it up. Ages 16+. Teens may attend with an adult.

About the Instructor:
Melissa Van Eck has been working with wool and creating 2D felted wool pieces for 4 years. It all started with a kit purchased at the Allegan Fiber Festival.
The pure enjoyment of feeling the wool work beneath her fingertips and the tactile movement of felting lead Melissa to teach herself how to work with wool.
Melissa started to teach this skill two years ago and has had many successful classes.
