Welcome to White Lake Area Historical Society
The White Lake Area Historical Society was founded in 1978 with 80 charter members.
The Bicentennial Celebration in 1976 generated interest in founding an area historical society whose purpose was to expose the community of the White Lake Area to its unique heritage, namely the Indian culture and lumbering area.
History comes and goes so fast that it is important to reach out and save some and foster pride in the history of our community and our country.
