Originally built as a venue for live performances and “flickers”, the newly renovated theatre, now called The Playhouse at White Lake, has been greeting White Lake area audiences since 1916. Located two blocks off the main street of downtown Whitehall and surrounded by quaint bed & breakfasts, restaurants, motels, marinas, and a quiet residential neighborhood, the Playhouse is the center for the area’s arts events. The Playhouse provides Michigan music, theatrical entertainment, films, and youth theater education year-round.
