Lunch and Learn Consumer Education Series with Michigan Attorney General

Join Carol Hillman, M.A.T. from the Michigan Attorney General Consumer Education Department as she shares how to help you be a savvy consumer and avoid tricks criminals use to steal from you. Home Repair & Improvement is the topic this week!

Carol will present six different seminars: Identity Theft; Phone, Mail & e-Scams; Online Safety; Investment Fraud; Home Repair & Improvement; and In-Home Care & Senior Residences.

Fetch Running Group

Every Monday at 6pm, join the Fetch Running Group for some exercise and camaraderie.

This is an all-ages/all-levels group. You can run, walk, or both and the distance you go is up to you. Family friendly, all ages and stages. Leave from Fetch at 6pm and return at your own time and pace. Upon your return enjoy $1 off your first pint if you choose. Not into beer? That’s fine, too. We have wine, soda, water, or bring your own non-alcoholic drink of your choice to enjoy. No purchase from Fetch is necessary to enjoy the camaraderie. See you there!

Moms on the Move-Tuesdays

Moms on the Move-Start your day right with a fun, relaxed exercise class. Children are welcome to attend and play while we are getting healthy! Each week we will have a new theme that will help us to reach our goal: Dance Party, Yoga, Crossfit, Core, Lower and Upper body, Kickboxing and Barre. Everyone can work at their own pace while we get our blood pumping and muscles working! Wear comfortable work out clothes and bring a towel or yoga mat. Note: Class will not meet on Tuesday, December 26.  Instructor: Tracie Holland

Sprouts Play and Learn

Sprouts Play and Learn Returns for two months of Patterns and Shapes!

Sprouts is a free program for parents/caregivers and their children birth-4 years of age. Every two months children receive a free book based off the theme of the month! They also play games and make crafts in relation to the theme.

November and December is “Patterns and Shapes!”

Sprouts Play and Learn runs the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of the month 10-11:30am between November-April and June through September. For more information or to register contact Gwen and Wendy at (231) 894-0342.

A Book Nook favorite: Checkers Morton came together in the early autumn of 1972 on the shores of Lake Michigan in Grand Haven, Michigan. HO, HO, HO!!! The Edukators will be playing our annual Christmas fundraiser for the White Lake Food Pantry at 7:00 p.m., Friday, Dec. 22 at the Whitehall High School Auditorium! Please join us for a fun evening of music and holiday fun! A good time for a great cause! Tickets are $5 and will be sold at the door!
