Antique windows are the
Canvas for a
Chamber of Commerce Fundraiser

Vintage window panes have become
a hot decorating item, and the
White Lake Area Chamber of Commerce
is inviting individuals and local
businesses to take them to a new level!

Stop by the Chamber and choose from
3 dozen wooden windows, many with
original hardware, bubbly glass and mullions.
Embellish one of the old pieces and
donate it for a silent auction.

They are due back to the Chamber
by May 5th.

Dress up the windows in everything from
sleek modern to shabby chic...
with a lot of whimsy!

The windows will be unveiled on
Friday, May 9, 2008.

This will kick off a silent auction of
these unique works of art that will continue
through the summer while the windows are
displayed in local businesses, and end
August 16 at the Maritime Festival.

Spectators and potential owners will have
the opportunity to place silent bids on any
of the windows at any of their
locations during business
hours this summer.

Proceeds from the silent auction will be
used for beautification efforts in the
downtown Montague and Whitehall areas.

Tickets for the unveiling party will be
available at the Chamber office
by early April.
