Meinert Park is 88 acres and offers sand dunes and spectacular views of Lake Michigan.
Use the natural trail and climb to the top of the dunes for panoramic views of the surrounding area.
Meinert County Park is located on Lake Michigan north of Montague at the end of Meinert Road. Take U.S. 31 to the Fruitvale Road Exit, go right (west) on Fruitvale Road to Whitehall Road, turn right (north) and follow Whitehall Road one (1) mile to Meinert Road, turn left (west). The park entrance is approximately 5 miles at Lake Michigan.
Meinert County Park is open May through September from 8:00 a.m. to 10 p.m.

A shelter is available to rent. The shelter offers picnic tables with seating for approximately forty (40) people, electrical outlets for crock pots, coffee pots, etc. and a large park grill for cooking.
Meinert Park offers 67 modern campsites with open and shaded sites. All campsites offer water, electrical and sewer hookups. Other services and facilities include:

Meinert County Park offers a rental cottage on a weekly basis Memorial Weekend through Labor Day and on a weekly or a daily basis before Memorial Weekend and after Labor Day. The cottage offers a family or group of six people the opportunity to enjoy the great outdoors and Lake Michigan, along with many of the conveniences of home. The cottage offers:

Kitchen & Dining
Full Bath
Accommodates Maximum of 6 People
A range and refrigerator, beds and living room furniture is provided. You will need to bring cooking, drinking and eating utensils, cleaning items, bedding, and towels.
The cottage may be rented by the day with a two (2) day minimum or by the week (7 days maximum) Check out time is at 11:00 a.m. Saturday and check in time is after 5:00 p.m. Saturday.
Rental Rates are:
$80.00 Per Day - $600.00 Per Week
